We are thrilled to announce that our daughter, Julie MacKinnon, will be taking over the High Time Australian Labradoodles program in Plymouth, Michigan, and Johnson’s Island, Ohio! Julie grew up surrounded by dogs and horses, and she now has three of her own Australian Labradoodles. Her passion and love for this incredible breed make her the perfect person to continue our legacy.

For those who don’t know the history of High Time Australian Labradoodles, it all began over 35 years ago when my husband Peter and I, Debbie Buick, started raising and training Morgan horses, Golden Retrievers, and Bichons near Elmira, Ontario. Over the years, we found joy and success in all three ventures, eventually retiring our beloved Morgan horse, Max, who is now enjoying a new life as a trusted trail mount in Michigan.

Our journey into Australian Labradoodles began after the loss of our last rescue dog, when we felt a huge hole in our hearts. We fell in love with Sadie, a lovable Australian Labradoodle we chose for Julie’s family. Inspired by her affectionate nature and intelligence, we decided to start our breeding program with two beautiful female Australian Labradoodles. Since then, we have been proud to provide loving, multi-generational companion puppies for families, complete with Puppy Culture training, microchips, health checks, and first shots.

While I am stepping back from the day-to-day responsibilities, I will continue to be available for consulting and helping with puppies. We are excited for Julie to take the reins, and you can adopt with confidence knowing she is dedicated to raising healthy, well-loved pups. Puppies can be transported to Canada and come with all the care and attention High Time is known for.

Welcome to the next chapter of High Time Australian Labradoodles!
